Responsibilities

As a Associate Consultant you will be responsible for assisting customers on various hardware and software related issues. You will also work closely with Senior Consultants on technical projects for customers of Agility Partners, primarily around Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Sharepoint and Lync.

As a successful associate? consultant you will:

  • Participate in project-based engagements with Agility’s clients
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
  • Respond to telephone calls, instant messages, email and personnel requests for technical support
  • Be exposed to new technologies and challenges every day.
  • Document, track, and monitor all problem to ensure a timely resolution
  • Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems
  • Recommend and schedule maintenance, via vendors or hands-on
  • Install and configure workstations based on customer needs and requirements
  • Provide end user support for IT-managed applications
  • Perform other duties or special projects as requested related to area of responsibility
  • Travel to customer locations to provide support or participate in team projects

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of higher educational experience. Work experience should include a broad application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques usually acquired through 0 – 3 years of experience in progressive Information Technology environments.
  • Previous IT helpdesk or support experience is a strong plus.
  • Must have strong analytical skills, professional office experience, a team mentality, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to with little supervision
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in the above technologiesMust have a drive to learn new technologies and deliver high quality work.
  • Experience with desktop operating systems (XP/Vista/Win7) is required
  • Experience with Microsoft Server operating systems (2000/2003/2008), and a demonstrated working knowledge of server applications (Microsoft 2000/exchange/active directory/DNS/FTP/Web servers) is a very strong plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory is a strong plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010 is a strong plus
  • Experience with Lotus Notes is a strong plus
  • Experience the following Microsoft products a strong plus: Sharepoint, OCS/Lync, BPOS, Office 365
  • Experience with corporate email on mobile devices is a plus. (iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile)
  • Experience with Lotus Notes/Domino or other IBM collaborative products such as Sametime, Quickr, Connections, LotusLive, WebSphere and WebSphere Portal is not required but is a plus.
